Do you do events outside of Charities, Non-Profits, or Non-Profiting Community Events?

We are unable to attend events that do not fit within our mandate! This is largely due to our agreement with Emergency Health Services Alberta (Formerly known as Alberta Health Services EMS) as part of our agreement for recieving assistance with our Medical Direction.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact us and we can discuss options, or make some recommondations to other services who will be able to assist you.

Are there costs associated if we use ARC?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We expect that our volunteers will not have to pay money to attend your event. We bring our volunteers and all the appropriate gear to your event. Prior to us agreeing to volunteer at your event there will be a discussion on the following:

You will not be paying for any of our volunteers time. For perspective, our members are working proffesionals and generally generally make 50.00/hourly. We are able to remove this related cost to our service by ensuring our volunteers needs are met.

*If your event takes place over multiple days please let us know. We may be required to organize lodging for our volunteers.

Who Volunteers?

All the events we assist have different needs. At a minimum you can expect:
x1 Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP)x1 Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)We have a great team moral and generally field more than our minimum at events. For example, smaller events can anticipate having a minimum of 4 providers and we are able to have 10+ volunteers at larger events.

Our Volunteer teams consist of Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP), Primary Care Paramedics (PCP), Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Medical First Responders (MFR). We even have oppertunities for Students and First Aiders to join us to learn more about our team and help out with community events as assistants to our volunteers!

Absolutely! We would love to include more names on our Roster!

Keeping in mind, 2027/2028 is a year of change for us, so please be patient as we are limiting the amount of events we do to help facilitate this change! n order to be put on the roster you will need to reach out to us. Please ensure you have the following ready for when we reply! Once we receive this we can set up an interview date.

Please send us a message by reaching out to our Contact Us page. For administrative reasons we request that you fill out the forum on the page, before calling us. Please include the following:Event NameOrganizations NameHow many attendees do you expect?A website link to the event if applicableAs well as any pertinent details you may think we should know. Someone will reach out to you withing a period of 24hrs.

Please keep in mind that all individuals at ARC are volunteers. Even if you meet the criteria for our volunteering, we are at the mercy of volunteer availability. There is no garuntee that we will be able to assist you.
